Under normal conditions, the spread between the bid and ask is very tight. In highly liquid products like the image above, that spread is usually no more than a tick. However, these markets are still susceptible to shocks that can throw them into an extreme state for a period of time. With V3's visualization of every market event, you can easily determine at any point if the market is in a normal or extreme state by seeing the size of the spread.
Because you are able to see each event as it occurred, you can take your analysis a step further and locate what triggered the change and how participants acted while the market wasn't in its normal state. Thus giving you greater clarity on exactly what occurred and when it occurred, only with V3.
